Creative Festival 23 – Photo Competition

Welcome to Creative Fest 23 & Friends of St John’s Photo Competition! 

“A picture paints a thousand words” and we want to see yours. 

Creative Fest 23 promises to be colourful, arty and fun.  In collaboration with Friends of St John’s Church we are looking for an image that captures the very essence of 22^ndJuly – Creative Fest 23 and St John’s Open Day.

Judged by 3 Bromsgrove Photographic Society members – they will be looking at your maximum 3 entries, which need to be submitted to [email protected] no later than 5^th August 2023.  Each photo must be taken by the entrant and accompanied with a catchy title.  If sending pictures of people please ensure you have their permission first. 

First prize is £50! Second and third are £25 each and winners will be announced on social media and appear here.

Welcome to the Creative Arts Photography Competition 2023.

Below are the criteria that must be followed to ensure successful entry:-

1. 3 photographs maximum per person.
2. Images no larger than 1600 x 1200 pixels – mobile phone pictures will be within this.
3. Photographs must be accompanied with a suitable and catchy title.
4. Photographs must have permission from those pictured in them if posing for photograph.
5. All photographs must be taken either at Art Fest or St John’s historic church on the day of the festival.
6. Closing time for photos is 23:59 on 5^th August 2023.
7. Digital enhancement of your photo to capture both Creative Fest underway and St Johns Church is highly encouraged.
8. Results will be published in local press and across social media.
9. The winning entry and two runners up will be invited to display their works at Showcase 23 on 28^th/29^th October which is being held at Bromsgrove School and displayed in Bromsgrove Library.
10. 1^st prize £50, 2 runners up £25, paid in cash.
11. All entries maybe used for publicity for Creative Art Showcase, Friends of St Johns’ Church and Bromsgrove Festival.
12. Judges (selected from Bromsgrove Photographic Society) are not allowed to enter and their decision is final.
