Creative Art Showcase Makes Big Move to Artrix for 2025 Event

Creative Art Showcase (CAS), the vibrant community event celebrating art, craft, performance and wellbeing, is excited to announce a major move for its 2025 showcase. After three successful years at Bromsgrove School, the event will be held at town’s Artrix Theatre in November.
Since its launch in 2021, CAS has grown to become Bromsgrove’s largest creative and community event, bringing together local artists, crafters and wellness partners. Last year’s event at Bromsgrove School was a huge success, thanks to the hard work of the dedicated team, including volunteer curator Sonya Russell-Saunders. The event saw a remarkable increase in sales, with original artwork selling ten times more than in previous years. A highlight was Bookworm by Andy Taylor, which took home the popular People’s Choice Award.
Looking ahead to Showcase 2025, the team is planning an exciting new format, including interactive zones and audience participation, all set within the spacious Artrix Theatre. Organisers are working hard to maximise the venue’s potential to deliver a fun and engaging experience for all visitors. To stay up to date with event details, sign up for the newsletter at www.creativeartshowcase.org or follow CAS on social media @creativeartshowcase.

Well done CAS, looking forward to more opportunities for everyone as your charity grows.”

Craft Stall Applications Open
With the move to a new venue, craft stalls are expected to be in high demand. Local artisans and makers are encouraged to submit interest to Joy at [email protected] to ensure their place at the event. All arts and crafts will be curated to reflect local talent and craftsmanship.

Expanding Community Outreach

2024 was an exciting year for Creative Arts Showcase, as it expanded its popular ‘Creative Friends’ community initiative. This low- and no-cost programme for arts, crafts and wellbeing has been a huge success in Bromsgrove, and the monthly workshops will now be moving to the Artrix in February 2025.
Annmarie Hulley, Project Manager, said, “We are thrilled to see how quickly this initiative took off. Thanks to funding from the National Lottery Community Fund, we are able to offer creative opportunities to people who may not have the resources to access them otherwise.
